We primarily use AQA GCSE Science papers. The exam skills and techniques developed are valuable for students studying other exam boards. But feel free to contact us, as we may be be able to accommodate other exam boards.

Students complete a GCSE Science paper under timed exam conditions using their access arrangements. This is marked and returned, the following session, with personalised feedback to help improve exam technique and performance.

Students should bring pens, pencils, a calculator and any equipment normally required for GCSE Science examinations. They will be provided with a periodic table or equations sheet, as necessary.

Yes. Sessions are designed to support both Year 10 and Year 11 GCSE Science students, who are in school or home-educated.

That’s exactly why this helps. School mocks are great, but students rarely get enough chances to practise full papers under calm conditions. This gives them another run-through without the pressure of it ‘counting’.

No - this isn’t tutoring. It’s exam practice. The aim is to improve timing, structure, and confidence. That’s often where marks are lost, even when students know the content.

Most students do feel nervous - and that’s the point of practising. It’s a safe environment designed to make the real exam feel familiar rather than frightening.

They’re indicative, not predictions. I use official mark schemes, but the real value is in the feedback and knowing what to improve before the actual exam.

Papers are either 1hr 15mins for combined or 1hr 45mins for separate (not including those that need extra time). Followed by structured exam reflection and review. Practising stamina now makes the real exam much easier.

Cancellations received by this time are eligible for either a full refund or transfer to a future session (subject to availability). Cancellations after 5pm on Thursday are not eligible for refund or transfer. If ExamReadyEducation cancels a session, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
